Beyond my expectations…..{.emme.boudoir}

Our first Austin .emme. event was 2 weeks ago …and I am still smiling about the whole experience…IT WAS AMAZING…on so many levels:) ! The women were B E A U T I F U L … S T U N N I N G…B R A V E …S E X Y and just a complete pleasure to photograph!!! Working with Michele was simply W O N D E R F U L…F A B U L O U S and F U N !!! I honestly…with my whole heart cannot believe that I am blessed to call this my job.. AND …I honestly …with my whole heart cannot believe that I am working with Michele… the experience truly was beyond my expectations!!!

Thank you to all the wonderful women…Thank you Michele for being ”YOU” and choosing me to do THIS with you…and Thank you Katie for being such a fabulously talented make-up artist…you rock girl!!

I loved being back in Austin, a place we called “home” for a year. It was wonderful seeing my sweet dear friends..the lovely dinners and the wonderful chats:) I didn’t get to see all the friends I had “hoped” to see…But I will definitely be back SOON

Los Angeles Event…{.emme.boudoir}

The date has been set…the hotel has been booked…. the .emme. boudoir. event Los Angeles is going to be held on June 27th- 28th at the F A B U L O U S Mondrian Hotel. Did I mention how gorgeous this hotel is??? It is the PERFECT backdrop for your boudoir session. This would be the perfect “Girls Night Out”…gather your girlfriends…you’ll already be looking fabulous…and ready for a night out. You can head out to infamous Sky Bar right there in the hotel…or you can make a weekend out of it and enjoy the fabulous views from the pool. The most exciting part of the event is you will have two photographers….me…and the talented Michele Anderson of Pinkle Toes Photography. I am excited that she will be coming from Austin, Tx. to share her vision and art with us west coasters

Really….13 days till I catch a plane to Austin for our first .emme. boudoir event. I am beyond thrilled to be shooting with the fabulous Michele. If you are in the Austin area, you really do not want to miss out on a event that only takes place one time a year in Austin… especially at this fabulous hotel We only have a few spots left, so if you are interested, you can fill this out. I had a vision…{ Just for fun }

Beautiful southern California weather…beautiful flower fields…my beautiful children…but I got a little stuck…

Literally…

It was quite a scene…and quite HILARIOUS!!!!! Luckily, my wonderful photographer friend, Noel, was with us:) Needless to say, we didn’t make it to the flower field…but we didn’t give up…well I would have…But Noel is ambitious…so off we went to another location. I was hoping to have a successful session like this…but throwing my boys in the mix was a disaster…a nightmare..lol! I know all you photographers out there understand! The session went a little like this…

Yes it’s fun…they are laughing….but it was a result of this…

I did manage to grab this…

The session may not have gone how I envisioned but I sure did laugh a WHOLE LOT…and may be yelled a bit too!!!

Sisters…{ Orange County Children Photographer }

I have 3 sisters…and I couldn’t imagine my life without them. I feel blessed that I grew up with them…so blessed. One is 14 years older…one is 10 years older…and the other is 18 months younger….I love them all equally yet differently. When having children, I of course, wanted daughters…but there was no guarantee, right? So when I was pregnant with my fourth child, I prayed and prayed and prayed for another daughter…and when we found out our 4th was a girl…I honestly screamed…jumped…cried with joy . I’ll have to find the video…we had the doctor write on a piece of paper “the” gender…so our oldest, Josh, could read it to us at home. He was 4 at the time (wow 4)…so days prior we were teaching him how to read ” boy” or “girl”. When we gave him the sheet of paper…he looked at it for a few seconds…looked at us…and slowly said ” girl”. Typing this right now, is actually making me teary eyed…this moment is definitely one I will never forget. We later asked Josh, why he was hesitant in saying “girl”. He said, ” You didn’t teach me “It’s A”…you only taught me “boy/girl”. It was so funny!!! My family thought I was crazy, when I told them that I still wanted more kids. I wanted my girls to have what I have, 3 sisters and 2 brothers. Every girl needs more sisters

I was so excited to take the girls out for a shoot. I was thrilled when they said they had fun These pictures, just make me smile and completely warm my heart. I love my daughters.

I have been sitting here trying to think of what to type for this post…trying to hold my excitement… I feel like I am dreaming and someone needs to pinch me! I am teaming up with this oh so famous rock-star photographer from Austin. Our special, invitation-only event will be announced very soon! I will be flying out to Austin for this event…and I couldn’t be more excited!! I also must say, that I completely flattered to be working with Michele …she is absolutely amazing.

Oh so in Love….{Orange County Photographer}

I was thrilled to be asked by my niece if I could come to the court house to photograph their special day. I got ”THE SPECIAL PASS” because of my camera…but hey…what ever gets me in the door…I’ll take lol!!!! I am kind of embarrassed that they got married before Christmas and I am just now giving them their images…but they ARE family, so they have to forgive me, right?
